OVERVIEW
The health & performance giant 1st Phorm, headquartered just outside St. Louis, MO held its annual Summer Bash event in June. While Klance has been involved in the past, this year event organizers wanted to dial up the experience & we were here for it.
THE RUNDOWN
Just as they disrupted the supplement & active lifestyle industry, 1st Phorm, with its iconic founder Andy Frisella, does their ‘annual conference’ completely different. Their Staff, Brand Ambassadors, & Partners from around the globe come to the 3-day event, which is more an energy-packed festival than a company retreat.

Summer Smash is a chance for their entire organization to coordinate, connect, & re-energize. Programming includes national talent, fitness challenges, motivational speakers & showcases for attendees.
As a culture-building event, designing an experience with 1st Phorm ingrained into every aspect is crucial. Enter Klance Unlimited. While we’ve provided equipment, infrastructure, & production services for Summer Smash in the past – event organizers tapped us to help take 2024’s festival to the next level.
In addition to the Mobile Staging, Rigging, Crowd Management, & Equipment provided, we designed & fabricated some epic installments. These included a custom entrance, stage scenery, & an immersive activation built to promote 1st Phorm’s The Legend’s Crossfit series.
