International Women’s Day Newsletter
This month, the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and National Hockey League (NHL) announced the launch of their Female Hockey Advisory Committee. This new initiative intends to ensure that more women and girls have the opportunity to experience the benefits that hockey offers, all while encouraging and accelerating the growth of female hockey in North America.
This year, KLANCE Unlimited’s Arena Technical Coordinator, Destiny Kunstman, was recognized by the NHL in their newsletter for her new Off-Ice Officiating position. Over the last 6 years, Destiny has regularly assisted in the crewing and staging services we offer to the NHL & the St. Louis Blues, including our work during the 2019 Stanley Cup and 2020 All-Star game in STL! Additionally, she works part-time at Centene Community Ice Center, driving the Olympia, better known as the Zamboni! Destiny’s love for the game goes far beyond her positions with the NHL and Klance Unlimited, so help us congratulate Destiny on the exciting opportunity with the NHL! We appreciate everything you & the women of Klance Unlimited continue to do!
